Active Release Technique (ART)
CAPS (Certified Aging In Place Specialist)
LSVT Big (BIG) is a treatment technique used by Physical and Occupational Therapists to improve a person’s, ability to produce larger more normal movements with walking and activities of daily living. It is more commonly known as a treatment strategy to help those folks who have been diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease.
A typical plan of care for BIG is 4 days a week for 4 weeks designed for those who have recently been diagnosed and those that have been living with PD for some time. The ultimate goal is to improve general mobility, safety, and quality of life.

Lymphedema is a common outcome of cancer treatment. It is the swelling on one or more of your legs or arms. The swelling can often cause difficulty with movement, limiting range of motion, strength, grip, and discomfort.
Our Lymphedema Management program is lead by a certified Lymphedema Specialist. Each treatment programs starts with an evaluation to determine the best treatment option and plan of care.
Our Lymphedema services are available in our Drexel Hill Clinic or House Calls throughout the area.
Also known as Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy® (MDT), the McKenzie Method® is an assessment and treatment program for the back, neck, and joints. MDT includes our patients in the assessment and education of their condition to assist and empower their healing.
It is a safe and reliable way to reach an a successful treatment approach. No two patients are the same! The outcome of an MDT assessment and evaluation will vary depending on your presentation.
Performing Arts Physical Therapy
Dancing & Performing Arts Physical Therapy is a form of physical therapy that focuses on treating dancers and performing artists. In the ways that baseball, football and hockey players have protocols and clinicians for their rehab; dancers and performing artists should also be seen by a specific clinicians and therapists who understand their goals, capabilities, and impairments. Dancers and performers, like any other athlete, have certain expectations and physical requirements that are specific to their sport that should be understood by an expert.
Vestibular Therapy & Concussion Management
Vestibular Rehab is non-invasive, cost-effective, and, in some cases, very short term! This type of rehab is beneficial for people of all ages and has been shown to be helpful with migraines, diabetes, concussions, BPPV (Vertigo), Meniere’s Disease, and Vestibular Neuritis. Prior to treatment, an extensive initial consultation is used to determine what course of action is best suited to improve your situation.
A House Call is an old fashioned twist on outpatient services. It is the same as going to any outpatient center, the only difference is that we bring those services to you. No waiting room, no being seen with other patients, no staged therapy room! Just you and your therapist working on reaching your goals!
